About me

I’m a writer and photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. A geek by inclination (and sometimes by profession), when I’m not writing articles on photography, I’m madly clicking away with either anything from a Nikon D800E, to a Canon 5D Mark II, to a Hasselblad 500C.

A lover of film photography as much as digital, my shooting is a bit schizophrenic. I go from photographing birds in flight in the wetlands around the Bay Area, to shooting portraits, to crowding a host of lights around my fiancée’s shiny lacquered dining table for product photography.
